It’s official. She’s permanently a part of a pack, My Pack!
Meet Raya Bear! Bear is the name given to her by Rocco Besednjak because she looked like a little bear when she was first found and I started calling her Raya because I’ve been in this deep faith dive/journey the past couple of years now and in Hebrew Raya means Friend, companion, beloved woman and Protector. Which was very fitting for her and her story but the acronym for Raya stands for “Rise Again, You’re Anointed” which ties both of our stories together in an incredible way.
I was completely lost after losing Shadow but I was lost way before that pushing though some really hard times in life due to a surgery causing me to go from a paraplegic to a high functioning quadriplegic with the only answers given was “this is just your new life now” from doctors even the surgeon who caused the injury. I went through absolute Hell for 2 years of my life, I was all alone with shadow, lost absolutely everything I owned and my career, family wished the worst for me, friends disappeared, sponsors vanished, I was abandoned and kidnapped trying to help someone in need, I spent every penny I had on hotels and food for shadow and I while chasing doctors for a fix, dove in a massive state of depression to where my only focus was rebuilding and it became a terrible addiction, coned out of more money that I care to speak about, started a business and got involved with some horrible people that burned me trying to take advantage of my situation and resources, hospital in Texas tried to kill me and the doctors laughed about it at my door when I told them to discharge me stating that I was going to die in 7 days, had a hole in my back the size of a basketball showing my spine, placed in a nursing home which was rock bottom of this journal…….. this is just some of my battles since august of 2022.
But if you guys followed along, there weren’t any complaints from my end about these battles simply because I have individuals who look up to me that I have to carry through their storms and trials, I had a new company to run/build and people to help grow their business/brands/nonprofits, individuals to help heal through my research of stem cells and regenerating the human body so I didn’t have the option to quit and complain, I carried the weight and moved accordingly. I knew God has a plan and purpose for me, I saw it clear as day and I still see that vision just as clear as when it was presented to me December 31 2023. It’s definitely not how I in visioned it but it’s right inline with Gods vision for my life.
I truly don’t know how long Raya Bear was lost in the wilderness but I know that feeling and I also know the feeling of being saved and brought into a family (big thanks to Camp Hero Kentucky) and what it’s like to carry your battles and the battles of those who are around you because you are called to be a Leader. I see a bright future for this pup because I see so many of Shadow in her but I also see so much of myself in her even the stubborn drive to keep going when everything inside is yelling at you to stop. Ive watched a champion come to life with this lost and abandoned “stray” and it’s incredible to see her grow into her own purpose!
I hope y’all are ready to see this story unfold because it’s going to be a great story to tell!
