I’m casting a series of emotionally gripping short films with TrueLume Films, part of The Chaplain series — a gritty, redemptive drama exploring faith, trauma, identity, and transformation. These short stories journey through the broken, the lost, and the searching — from ex-agents and estranged brothers to spiritual mentors and shadowy manipulators.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

⭐️ Ezra Hughes – Male, 24–32, Black/Mixed Race British
Looking for a commanding actor with gravitas and internal range — someone who can portray stillness, pain, and strength without overplaying emotion.

⭐️ Benji Hughes – Male, 18–25, Black/Mixed Race British
We’re seeking a powerful young actor who can switch between streetwise toughness and buried vulnerability.

⭐️ Sadie Hughes – Female, 55–65, Black British or Caribbean heritage
Their mother. A woman of deep prayer, heartbreak, and spiritual authority.

⭐️ Pastor Michael – Male, Playing Age 40s–60s, Black British
Senior pastor at The Gathering. Warm, wise, spiritually grounded. Brief but meaningful appearance offering guidance.

Shoot dates: Sept 9th-12th 2025
Shoot location: Newport, South Wales, UK
Day Rate: TBD- (Hotel, travel, meals and stipend included)

$400 (for approx 2 hrs)
Shoot location: Nashville, TN
Shoot date: Aug 27th
(would need to have the whole day available, as the talent call time schedule will be staggered, and not determined until the day before).
No experience necessary.
Very simple, delivering a couple of 1- liners to camera.

This is a funny, tongue in cheek campaign ad.
You will be filmed saying multiple “one- liners’ to camera, in front of backdrops on a studio wall.

Finally!!! I’m excited to announce the release of “Patience and the Piccadilly Picnic.”- a cute Beatrix Potter style, read aloud, children's audio/video book about friendship, and learning to have patience.
Written by and myself.
(Originally written way back in 2010!! Lots of patience required! LOL)

Follow the adventures of Patience the impatient Platypus, and her friends Percy the Possum, Lady Buggly, Major Hootalot, and The Cheddarchins, as they navigate life in the little country village of Piccadilly Pond.
