Yesterday marked nine years since the release of Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit’s Grammy Award-winning album, The Nashville Sound.

Here is a clip from a 2024 live performance of the album’s centerpiece, “If We Were Vampires.” Shown behind the band is the film Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, which also explores the relationship between love and human frailty.
