Where to begin! I'll make this short. We were so thrilled to get to premiere our short film, Before the Ink Dries, at the Richmond International Film Festival this year. We had the time of our lives, and got to meet so many incredible people. Special shoutout to Kate Bosworth and for your film, Nona. You are both an inspiration to us, and your film is going to changes lives for the better. To the two amazing actors who starred in Nona, Jesy McKinney and Sulem Calderon, it was such a pleasure to meet you both! You're two of the sweetest people we met, so real, and so deserving of your recognition. To Danny Glover thank you for your kindness and transparency. It's so cool to see the passion and dedication you have for your craft, and your willingness to share with others. Thank you so much to the CEO and founder of the festival, Heather Waters, for taking a chance on our film. For those of you who don't know, this short film was not intended to be seen at festivals, or really anywhere for that matter. It was an eccentric proof-of-concept piece for our feature-length screenplay, and we never really imagined that festivals would be interested in something like this. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to premiere at Richmond International Film & Music Festival. This was definitely a memorable week of events for us, and has only fueled us with more gusto and motivation to continue working hard to tell the stories we have within our hearts to tell.
