This week, I had a great conversation with Brad Stogsdill for Brown County Sheriff, and Andrea Swift-Hanlon of Leadership Brown County, all about their recent Citizens' Academy.

It is a pilot program between the Brown County Sheriff's Department and Leadership Brown County that sought to educate citizens about what actually goes on inside Brown County law enforcement.

If you haven't tried the volants at Olde Bartley House Coffee and Donuts, you are missing out.

This week, we got to sit down with Danielle and discover not only their amazing pastries, but also all about what it is like running a coffee shop in the middle of Nashville, and the journey her father went on, turning an almost 150-year-old building into a modern cafe, blending the old and the new into a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

If you haven't had a chance to catch ChamberFest Brown County shows yet this week, you should.

I was able to attend the show last night, Delicious Ayres, and the quality of the music was phenomenal. It is truly a gift to have such high-caliber musicians performing free concerts at local venues.

In the two videos below, Andreas Ioannides, ChamberFest's artistic director, gives a preview of what you can experience tonight and tomorrow night.

Tonight is their "big band" performance featuring musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra alongside Oboist Gianfranco Bortolato of the Orchestra del Teatro dell’Opera in Rome. The show will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church-Nashville, Indiana, at 7pm.
