They know you’re gonna need some tunes and maybe directions to the party. Finally!!!

“Death to false metal!” Charles Martin Smith’s much-requested heavy metal horror TRICK OR TREAT (1986) hits UHD and Blu-Ray later this year from Synapse Films and Red Shirt Pictures! Skippy from Family Ties stars as a high school headbanger whose favorite thrasher just died in a mysterious hotel fire. Heartbroken and distraught, things perk up when he finds a local DJ has the only known copy of the artist’s upcoming album -- but once it’s in his possession, he finds his rock star idol may have had a few tricks up his sleeve. A fun entry into the ‘80s satanic panic wave of fright flicks, TRICK OR TREAT fans haven’t had a lot of good options in the digital age, with the German Blu leaving a lot to be desired. Considering Synapse and Red Shirt’s excellent track record, this one should be a stunner.
