Located in Nashville, TN, Gnome Recording Studios is nestled inside a forty year old historic studio close to downtown in the Berry Hill & Melrose neighborhood. We’ve been loving having sessions of many genres lately - from full band tracking to pop & even strings & brass sections! We’ve also accommodated a handful of writing camp blockouts offering up to 5 writing rooms per day in our entire facility. Looking forward to making so much more wonderful music together ❤️ 🌲🏡🍄🎶

We’ve loved having full band tracking sessions in Studio A, with plenty of iso booths for isolation & windows for line-of-sight with fellow musicians. Who doesn’t love a Hammond B3 & Leslie 122 with bass pedals & Trek II capabilities? Drums in the big live room & also in the tight piano booth provide a vast palette of drum tones for various songs or genres. 🌲🏡🍄🎶🥁

Our Studio B is an ideal place to track vocals & overdubs to finalize production, mixing & mastering. The room is well-outfitted with a good selection outboard gear, instruments, microphones & monitors.

Our Yamaha C7 Grand Piano can easily roll in & out of the iso booth or live room. We also have a great selection of house drums kits, along with a solid assortment of snares & percussion - all in-house. Our full gear & instrument list available is viewable on our website.

Our Studio B is cozy & perfect for tracking vocals & finishing your production with overdubs in a client-friendly environment. We have a Yamaha M1 upright piano in the iso booth, as well as suitable mic locker & plentiful selection of outboard gear. Stocked with ATC SCM50 ASL monitoring, it’s also an ideal room for mixing & mastering.

We always leave our Upton 251 microphone set up in the vocal booth of our Studio A. This mic is an absolute classic & phenomenal on vocals, acoustics & any overdubs. We also love our high-strung (Nashville tuning) Gretsch Jim Dandy guitar.

Just about everything in the studio is modular on casters! Easily arrange the room in a way that suits your own creative approach. We’ve been loving how incredible the live tracking room sounds for drums, strings and choir lately ✨

In addition to our vintage 1970s API console, we have plenty of outboard gear - including 14 channels of Neve, 4 channels of Daking, 6 channels of our tube preamps, plenty of compression options & even more on the back of our studio rack. Our vocal iso-booth is readily stocked with an Upton 251 microphone.

Studio B has a cozy iso booth with a beautiful Yamaha upright piano. It’s stocked with a Neumann U87 along with a nice selection of other microphones & instruments.
