Adding these skills to my resume experienced over the past 3 days:
1)inserting an NG (used a red robin urinary catheter) and tube feeding a newborn lamb
2)assisting mama Velvet (aka Ellie) with birthing her new baby ram lamb this evening (delivery was not progressing and had to pull the lamb)
3)first time docking a lamb's tail

It's been a long night here at C&K Homestead. Pearl (aka Thelma Lou) gave birth to this little cute fella around 4:30 pm yesterday. He's struggling to latch on, so having to tube feed some colostrum. He's giving us a run for our money and totally worth it. There is nothing no cuter than a babydoll lamb.💙🐑💙
