Happy Valentine’s Day and (more importantly) happy February break, Rockets! No matter what your plans are for the most needed week off of the school year, we hope you get to rest, relax, and, of course, read about climate change, banned books, and SNL. What could be a better way to spend your February break? No matter what you’re doing, however, stay warm. It’s cold out there, but spring will be on it’s way before we know it.

Hey, Needham High! You’ve officially made it to Winter Break! And what better way to relax than to curl up by the fire with a mug of hot chocolate to read the newest addition of the Hilltopper? We guarantee that that you won’t be bored before 2025 as long as you read about politics in the classroom, screen time when you wake up, or nail salons run by high schoolers.

Happy Fall, Needham High! 🍁The leaves are changing, school is ramping up, and the Hilltopper is here for all of it. Seniors, celebrate being done with round one of college applications by reading up on Halloween costumes. Juniors, embrace the APUSH lifestyle by learning more about issues in the presidential election. Sophomores, try to limit your caffeine consumption while you still can by reading about its effects on NHS. And ninth graders, read all about two clubs you can join this fall.
No matter who you are, there is plenty to read this edition. Happy spooky season!

Happy (Almost) Summer NHS! ☀️
We’ve made it to June and the dreaded finals week. We are so proud of all of you, especially our new tapah alumni shout out to Julia and Lucy for being extraordinary Editors-in-Chief this past year and to the rest of our recently graduated seniors. We will miss you! In the meantime, Emily, Lily, and Amelie look forward to summer and another great year on the Hilltopper! Clearly, ELA will be taking our love of English language arts very literally this year. Stay strong, rockets! We’ve almost made it!

February is officially over!

Happy end to a month of freezing temperatures and no snow days… We will get through this together!
