Craig is a University of Wisconsin graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, is the CEO and director of Chilling Entertainment, LLC, a multimedia company known for the website Chilling Tales for Dark Nights and its popular YouTube channel. He also leads The Simply Scary Podcasts Network, which produces several weekly audio horror entertainment series. Additionally, Groshek is the creator and editor-in-chief of CreepypastaStories.com, a horror fiction website he launched in April 2020.
As the head of Chilling Entertainment, Groshek has worn many hats, including director, executive producer, audio engineer, sound designer, website administrator, scriptwriter, editor, publisher, voice-over actor, and author, with credits in hundreds of productions. Under his leadership, the company developed multiple 5-star rated podcast programs on iTunes, such as The Simply Scary Podcast, Horror Hill, Scary Stories Told in the Dark, and Chilling Tales: The Podcast. He also played a key role in growing the Chilling Tales for Dark Nights YouTube channel, which has accumulated over 25 million views, nearly 250,000 subscribers, and more than 1,000 audio releases since its inception in 2012. Groshek also manages the Otis Jiry Channel, which boasts over 30,000 subscribers and 500+ releases.
Throughout his tenure, Groshek has pioneered various innovative initiatives, including monthly writing contests, a celebrity guest narration program, the Evil Idol voice acting competitions, the fan-interactive series Waking Nightmare, and Frightening Films Fridays, a weekly short horror film presentation.
