This past year I have seen more couples planning weddings that are stressed to the max, running out of money, and all too often are overly focused on details and have expectations that far exceed the importance of actually getting married. 20 years from now, no one will remember if your food was good, if the center pieces looked great, if the suits fit well (although they probably did if you went with SUITED), if the groomsmen ties perfectly matched the bridesmaid dresses, the music played, or even 90 percent of the pictures you received.
Thought I would share this story to help everyone planning a wedding to keep perspective.
It took four months for one woman to receive a life-changing cancer diagnosis after first noticing a swollen lymph node on her neck in March 2025. After getting the devastating news, she canceled her wedding and planned an elopement with her fiancé in just 12 hours.
