Arrest: Operating While Intoxicated – 4th Offense, Operating While Revoked, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer

On November 7th, a patrol officer with the Neillsville Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Hewett Street for an equipment violation. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver exited and ran toward a nearby residence. After a brief foot pursuit, the officer located the driver—identified as Hilary Brantner, 44, of Galesville—hiding in some bushes.

When the officer attempted to take Brantner into custody, she resisted by pulling away and refusing to comply with commands. The officer eventually placed her under arrest.

Following an investigation, Brantner was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated (4th Offense), Operating While Revoked, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer. She was transported to and booked into the Clark County Jail.
