A sobering note: the VAQ-135 jet, “520” seen in photo, was the aircraft involved in the crash into San Diego Bay on 12 FEB 2025. Both crew members survived the accident, a testament to training, procedures, and rapid response.

Moments like this highlight both the power of naval aviation and the very real risks carried by those who fly and support these missions. 🇺🇸✈️⚓️
