At RampCheck Global we are “Avgeeks” to the core! We believe being an “Avgeek” is not just loving all things aviation, but recognizing the vital role aviation plays in all our lives. We are three brothers who grew up spotting at the end of runways, building model airplanes and going to airshows. That early love led to a combined total of fifty years working various positions in the aviation industry and US Military. Our focus is to bring awareness through news and current events. Our passion is to highlight the beauty and excitement that draws the aviation community together by sharing photos, videos and special guest interviews along with unique aviation apparel and accessories. Utah Helicopter Fly-In Cancelled: 18SEP26, Organizers of the 2026 Utah Rotor Pathway Program fly-in at Cedar Valley high school in Eagle Mountain, Utah were forced to cancel the fly-in today due to high winds and a thunderstorm that blew into the area minutes before the first helicopter was scheduled to touchdown. Hopefully they can reschedule this great event soon. We were able to capture one Utah Army National Guard AH-64D Apache moments before the fly-in was canceled.

The Utah Rotor Pathway Program is a first-of-its-kind high school career and technical education (CTE) program that trains students for helicopter piloting and aviation maintenance. 1-211th Attack Battalion

Tonight’s RampCheck Aviation Sunday Live leads with breaking news from Miami, where an Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767-300F operated by 21 Air overran Runway 30 at Miami International Airport, crossed the airport perimeter and struck multiple vehicles before catching fire.

We’ll take a look at video posted to social media showing the landing and runway overrun, surveillance footage of the accident, the aftermath, and the latest reports as we try to piece together what happened. Authorities are now reporting fatalities and multiple injuries, and the FAA and NTSB are investigating.

We’ll also take a moment to remember the two Hellenic Air Force aviators who were killed Saturday when their F-4E Phantom II crashed during a demonstration at Athens Flying Week in Tanagra, Greece.

If time allows, we’ll get to some of the other aviation stories we had planned for tonight — including the 50th anniversary of Lt. Viktor Belenko’s incredible MiG-25 defection to the West, a mysterious aircraft that emerged from a hangar at Long Beach Airport, the latest look for the U.S. Space Force, and the return of FAFO — involving an unruly airline passenger and, yes...duct tape.
