🐀 A bit about Doc:
"I'm Doc, your local music rat who will do anything to go to a local show! I grew up in Nevada County and was raised by musicians so my family are some of my biggest fans and my greatest inspiration for my show and that includes the music I grew up listening to! Music is my life and I hope to always share something new to whoever is listening to my show!"

Q. What’s the most annoying animal (apart from humans)?
A. My cat at 4 am yelling at me to wake up and feed him.(just kidding, I love my one eyed orange monster).

Q. What is your worst Halloween costume?
A. Probably when I went as a SoundCloud rapper to a family gathering and no one else was dressed up but my sister and I; I wrote Taco Bell on my knuckles for a fake tattoo...

⚡ Show name origin?
It comes from my real name, Darien Reign Savage! But it's also the name of 1940's cult comic 'Doc Savage- The Man Of Bronze' Any correlation? I'll let you decide!

🌞 art. Art? ART! Yes, folks, KVMR/KVMRx brings you ART!

⭐ Nevada City Chamber of Commerce First Fridays Art Walk returns on Friday, (who saw that coming) July 3rd!

🌞 Visit us outside the station on the corner of Bridge and Spring Street from 6 to 9pm. That’s where you’ll find Sydney Joyce drawing her 5-minute portraits - do you dare be her subject?

⭐ But it’s Art Walk folks - one art is not enough art. That’s why artist Skye Molaro will also be here hosting a zine & comic making table. All while The Reluctant Time Traveler djs live for even more art ambience.

🌞 Ever wonder what goes on in this giant, metal building? Take a station tour or hang out in our community room making friendship bracelets at our indoor craft table. We have AC AND ART inside!

⭐ Our neighbor the Ice House Gallery will be open and artist will showcase contemporary art!

🌞 Stop by for First Friday Art Walk in downtown Nevada City on Friday, July 3rd from 6 to 9pm! It’s ART! And that’s GOOD!
