Good morning! Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed next Friday, July 3rd, in celebration of Independence Day. Since the holiday falls on a Saturday, we will be closing on Friday. I wanted to send a reminder in case you need to plan for childcare that day.

Also, we are in need of more sunscreen. We’ve been outside for several hours each day, so sometimes we apply sunscreen 2-3 times. If you haven’t brought a bottle yet for your child, please bring 2. If you’ve already brought a bottle, please bring one more. Hopefully this will get us through summer.

Good morning!! It’s sunscreen time! If you haven’t already, please bring sunscreen for your child. We play outside as often as possible, and with the weather getting warmer and sunnier, we need to use sunscreen each day.

I’m also putting out a request for rubber mulch donations. We’ve mulched our play yard 3 times in the past 5 years, but the wooden mulch erodes and/or washes away. This playground-certified rubber mulch is $10 per bag at Lowe’s, and based on our play yard dimensions we need 1,050 bags to have a 4” depth. As you can see, the 10 bags purchased today covered very little at not even a 1/2” depth. Any donations of mulch would be greatly appreciated!!
