If this doesn't move you, you've got no soul. The Tartan Army will donate $10,000 to Hasbro Children’s Hospital’s cancer unit, $10,000 to a grassroots program that gives underprivileged youth in Rhode Island access to soccer, and $6,500 to a school that teaches children to play bagpipes.

Tonight, the Tartan Army also attended the Good Night Lights event at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. In what can best be described as an emotional and deeply moving moment, members of the Tartan Army gathered to show their support for the children receiving care at the hospital. Their presence demonstrated solidarity, compassion, and encouragement for the young patients and their families in Providence. Video - Providence Tartan Army

Found this remarkable photoset from Lincoln Park in a local group that seems to be inactive. Original poster is a Robin Winters who shared the following: "Before we were old enough and tall enough to go on the big kid rides at Lincoln Park we went to the Kiddie Land section🎟️🎠🎡 We happily rode the kiddie rides in our matching outfits with kerchiefs, our parents took lots of photos, and we wondered what all the screaming was about nearby 🎢

"I scanned 11 photos from a box of 21 Kodachrome II family slides taken at the park in its glory days. They include the Turtle Riders, U-Drive-It Cadillacs, little boats, Kiddie Carousel, Sky Fighters, Zephyr kiddie train, car carousel, Pony Carts, Mother Goose Ride, the VW bus on the German Carousel, and the miniature golf course with the Comet roller coaster in the background. I hope they bring back fond memories for you as they did for me!"

🇵🇹🤝🇨🇩 Portugal and DR Congo played out a 1-1 draw in Houston.

João Neves gave Portugal the perfect start, heading home after just five and a half minutes. However, the Portuguese struggled to create clear chances for the remainder of the first half.

DR Congo struck back just before the break, with Yoane Wissa nodding in from close range to level the score.

Both teams had opportunities to find a winner in the second half, but neither could make the breakthrough. Cristiano Ronaldo was kept quiet throughout the match and failed to register a shot on target.

If you were in downtown New Bedford today on Union Street, you may have seen this… a huge truck tipped over with its load all over the street and sidewalk! Photos courtesy of one of the neighbors of the construction, Shimmer. Who came very close to losing both their sign and their front window! We are very happy that didn’t happen. The construction and the summer slump is hitting the downtown businesses particularly hard this year. You should stop in and say hello and check out her shop! They are located at 187 Union St.

Folks in Boston are noticing the cones appearing on statues and even traffic signals as the Scots have invaded the city.

Originating in Glasgow in the 1980s, the prank initially started as drunken whimsy by late-night revelers but quickly evolved into an unofficial symbol of Scottish humor, playfulness, and a rebellious attitude towards authority.The phenomenon is best known for the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington outside the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Glasgow. Almost every day for decades, the statue has been adorned with a cone.
