The Siren Highlighting creative community activity Welcome to the online scene of "The Siren" -- New Bedford's very own art magazine.

Each month you can read individual artist and musican/band interviews, the AHA! Night Review, enjoy local illustrations & comics, and check out the upcoming art-related events around the area! New Bedford and Fall River are cities with a rich history, where artists of all sorts are living and working currently. Our goal is to spread the word and to celebrate all those local talents, creating a collaborative environment!

Anatomical Artistry – Life Drawing Sessions at Kilburn Mills

The AHA! Night fun now continues well into the evening in the form of AHA! After Dark! Enjoy these AHA! Night activities that begin or continue past 8 PM on Thursday, Nov. 13th:

🌙 At Play Arcade, adults take over at 8 PM for 21+ karaoke, food, fun and games!

🌙 Relax to a performance by singer Justin Sampson over dinner & drinks at Cork Wine and Tapas(6-9 PM)

🌙 Grab a bite or a pint and listen to Electric Blues & Rock with the Neal McCarthy Trio at The Pour Farm Tavern & Grille. (8-11:30 PM)

🌙 Keep the vibe alive at AHHhhhhhh: The AHA! Night After-Party. At 8 PM, Bento’s transforms into a cozy groove lounge where the WAMPTRONICA collective takes you on a sonic journey through Deep Afro Jazz Soulful House Music.

🌙 NEW BEDFORD JAM is an Open Mic and Jam Session at Gallery X hosted by Sean FitzGerald. At 6:30 PM step up to the open mic for a 10 minute slot. At 7:30 PM the jam begins featuring an all-star lineup including John Nieman, Charles Xavier, and Brian Cass.

🌙 Local legend DJ Anj will be spinning from 9 PM - on to celebrate the opening of the National Club NB Mexican Cantina! Come for the margaritas, stay for vibes.

November's AHA! Night is sponsored by Point32 Health with additional support from SouthCoast Community Foundation and Servedwell Hospitality.
