Today's Good News: Nine-year-old Iowa boy, Colton Holmes, took time to shovel snow from around a fire hydrant near his house last week, and it paid off the very next day when there was a HOUSE FIRE on the same block. The fire department said not having to clear the snow may have saved lives. They're rewarding Colton by giving him a ride to school in a firetruck this Friday. β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ₯°πŸš’πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

Today's Good News: A baby seal walked into a bar in New Zealand the other day and wouldn't leave. Someone ran home to get a dog crate, and they used salmon to lure it in. After it was trapped, wildlife officials released it back into the wild. The manager said they were lucky they had the salmon. They usually wouldn't . . . but they've been offering it as a unique PIZZA TOPPING. They joked that they might keep it on the menu now that it's got the "SEAL of approval." β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ₯°πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

A baby seal has caused chaos by wandering into a bar in Richmond, New Zealand. The furry visitor, below the legal drinking age, sampled salmon from the dinner menu on Sunday before being bundled out of the pub by rangers.

Today's Good News: In case you haven't seen this yet, an Australian "positivity influencer" shared a video this week of a guy near Detroit named Ed Bambas, a veteran who's still working at age 88. He works at a grocery store because he has to. He retired from his job at GM 25 years ago, but then they went bankrupt, and he lost his pension. Samuel Weidenhofer has 2.3 million followers on Instagram, and he posted the video on Monday, asking fans to donate, and within days, they pitched in over a MILLION BUCKS to help Ed retire. β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ™ŒπŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

Today's Good News: An IL couple spent their second Thanksgiving with a mailman who stepped in to help them out just over a year ago. 75-year-old Guy Miller was walking his dog last November when it yanked him off his feet, and he faceplanted. Jaylen Lockhart saw it happen while delivering mail and helped him out, so Guy and his wife invited him over for Thanksgiving. They invited his family again this year, and there was an added surprise. Jaylen told them he wanted to propose to his girlfriend at dinner, so they had bottles of champagne ready to go. β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ₯°πŸ‘πŸ˜˜πŸ₯‚

Today's Good News; A UT man covers his truck in Christmas lights every year to help raise money and awareness for a men's mental health charity called the I Love You, Bro Project. Reed Taylor started with 100 lights in 2019, and installed 28,000 on his truck this year. It took almost two miles of wire to connect them all. The β€œI Love You, Bro Project” began on a bridge when the founder came across a man in a su***de crisis, and talked him off the ledge simply by saying β€œI love you, bro.” (If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of su***de, please call or text the su***de and crisis lifeline at 988. You're not alone.)β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ™ŒπŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

Reed Taylor, a West Valley City native, wrapped his Ford Super Duty truck with 28,000 Christmas lights this year.
