Today's Good News: What started as one little lemonade stand in Ohio has grown into a charity effort that's received more than $5 million in donations and supplies to children in need. A girl named Payton Obert launched the project in 2018 after wanting to give back to hospitalized kids, and her first stand raised $768. Today, Payton's Lemonade Stand organizes hundreds of young volunteers across several states, providing toys, food, clothing, books, and school supplies to families facing a tough time. Today's Good News: A Mississippi wildlife rescue is helping dozens of orphaned baby raccoons prepare for life in the wild through a hands-on training program nicknamed "raccoon boot camp." The raccoons lost their own mothers because of storms, traffic accidents and other traumatic events. The staff teach the young raccoons how to dig for worms, find seeds in pinecones and acorns, fish in shallow pools, and even swim in a pond. After about six months of training, the raccoons graduate in a ceremony and then are released into the wild. ❤️ 👏 😍 🙌 🥰 👍 😘 🦝

Today's Good News: An AZ seventh grader named Sloan just collected 30,326 diapers this year for families in need. She created Sloan's Diaper Drive five years ago, and her first collection brought in about 7,000 diapers. Now it's turned into a community-wide project, with this year's donation filling an entire U-Haul. All of the diapers go to Nourish Phoenix, which is a local nonprofit. And they just said that Sloan put together one of the largest diaper donations they've ever received. ❤️ 👏 😍 🙌 🥰 👍 😘

When 12-year-old Sloan noticed that a local organization was running out of diapers, she decided to do something about it.

Today's Good News: 18-year-old AZ man Jordan Hope saw an elderly stranger struggling to cross the road in worn out shoes, so he stopped and gave the man the shoes off his own feet. He then went with him into a pharmacy, helped him pick up medication, ordered him a rideshare, and even followed him home to make sure he got there safely. That's when Jordan learned the 80-year-old man had lost his wife two weeks earlier. The elderly man said it was nice to have found a new friend, and the two plan on staying in touch. A passerby caught the moment on video and shared it, saying “If this is your son/family, I witnessed this act of kindness yesterday morning”. ❤️ 👏 😍 🙌 🥰 👍 😘

Today's Good News: A senior shelter cat named Merlin is getting a fresh start after a rescue group stepped in to help get him back in good health. When they picked him up, they found a kind note from the elderly woman who had cared for him but could no longer afford the veterinary care he needed. Merlin has since gone through a few procedures but has remained incredibly affectionate through it all. Longleaf Animal Rescue just NW of Durham is now accepting adoption applications for the tabby . . . looking for a home where he can spend plenty of time curled up in someone's lap. ❤️ 👏 😍 🙌 🥰 👍 😘 🐱

Today's Good News: Las Vegas Raiders QB Fernando Mendoza is taking his talents beyond the football field with a new financial education video series called "Finance with Fernando." If you didn't know, the 23-year-old Heisman Trophy winner is a Business Administration MBA graduate from the University of Indiana. He says his series is aimed at helping Gen Z make smarter decisions with their money. Earlier this year, Meendoza made headlines when he signed a check for half-a-million dollars to the National MS Society to help find a cure, as his mother suffers from the disease. ❤️ 👏 😍 🙌 🥰 👍 😘

The young man, who's already accomplished so much, has partnered with US Bank to launch a new video series called Finance with Fernando
