I absolutely love this time of year. Especially in New Bern where MumFest takes over downtown. It’s such a sense of wonder to see the all the hard work people have done in putting this amazing event together!

I’m sad I won’t be able to attend this year but take a look at Mumfest in years past here.

Being a photographer you’re your own worst critic and while this in my option is not the best I could do I still love the shot and the place.

If you haven’t been to Tryon Palace for their Candlelight Christmas Celebration than you haven’t pulled off being a holiday time traveler. Minus a DeLorean and a Flux Capacitor you are traveling back in time with a number of events to explore. My favorite being of course the historic black powder fireworks on the grounds!
