The 2025 New Boston Pioneer Days Festival wrapped up this week. Here are a few highlight of the live music, treats, eats and fun that was had at the annual event.

We are so excited to be working with Rock Solid Resource Center on a Winter Warmth Drive! Donations of new or gently used blankets, coats, and other cold weather gear will be accepted. 💙❄️

We were so happy with the results of our coat and blanket drive last year, and we hope to have a great result this year as well. Thank you in advance for, as our friends at Rock Solid like to say, helping us help our communities!

The Highway 67 Showdown was held October 10, 2025 in Maud. The Maud ISD Cardinals bested the Simms ISD James Bowie Pirates 26-18.

The New Boston Lions played host for the annual rivalry game against the DeKalb Bears. While the Lions hoped to bring the Traveling Trophy back to NB, the Bears came away the victors with a score of 26-10 and kept the trophy for a ninth consecutive year.
