It's finally here! This is a project I've been working on for some time in the background and I'm excited to finally share it with you!

This is a scene from Season 3 of the HBO hit show Westworld. It was provided to me as part of a contest for writing music to film. The clip that was provided to me only had dialog and sound effects. I had to produce all the music. As it is a car chase, it demanded something dramatic and really allowed me to sink my teeth in to something "big" and somewhat futuristic as this is a sci-fi show set in the future.

So, I decided to take a clue from Hans Zimmer and went with an orchestra comprised of over the top brass, insane percussion and TWO complete string sections. Then I decided to get crazy and added electronic elements including some analog synth gear I have off to the side.

The end result is something that was challenging yet a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Recently, I completed scoring a short film titled "Alone In The Dark", directed by Calvin Henson. The story deals with a man who is confronted by the realities of s*x trafficking that's going on right here in the United States. In the past, I have supported organizations that help victims of this terrible crime and therefore this story resonated with me.

So, even though the subject matter was pretty heavy, it was my pleasure to help bring awareness to this very real and tragic issue that too many people ignore.
