Wheelies in new Braunfels

Took the bike out across the bridges and around town to put some seat time in. Still dialing things in — progress every ride.

Had to bring the front end down quick when a deer crossed up ahead. That’s part of riding around here — stay sharp and keep your head up.

Ran into a couple riders at the park and sent one on the way out. Didn’t stop to talk, but respect was mutual.

Cruised by Schlitterbahn and swung past Lake McQueeney. The dam project’s finally wrapped up and the water’s coming back. Huge shoutout to the crews who made that happen. Looking forward to being back out there fishing and boating soon.

Lesson learned: always bring the mic.

In this short video, I had a warm conversation with Michael, who lives near the parking garage. We talked about how the cold weather has been tough, but he finds comfort basking in the sunlight when the morning comes. It’s a simple moment, reminding us to check on one another, even in the cold, and appreciate the warmth that a bit of sunshine—and connection—can bring.
