If you are part of my family or are close friends with me you have had this dip more times than you can count! The way that I crave this and it instantly brings me back to times with my grandpa and family… food should always be celebrated and enjoyed and the memories celebrated! Figured it’s time to share this so people can enjoy some of what my family has enjoyed for years!

Tried the new snack wrap from McDonald's! So much nostalgia! Brings me back to my high school days of being a manager and having these all the time! So good! Will be going back for more!

Well today I had a follow up scope with my bariatric surgeon to see how everything is going with the ulcers and to determine if we would have to do a revision to my gastric bypass surgery. I can happily report that I am now ulcer free and will not have to have a revision at this time! The amount of stress and mental load this has had on me has been insane and I am so excited to have some good news!

This one hurt because I wish I could do what this video shows. I remember you every day and miss you so much. There was a point in my life that I thought you wouldn’t be there for me and you proved me wrong. Your love was unconditional. I will always love you and I feel you with me every day. Until I get to see you again know that your love and support has meant more to me me than you will ever know!

Yesterday marked 1 month sober so I decided to reward myself with some more Stanley’s! I don’t think I went wrong with the color choices. Sad part this isn’t even all my Stanley’s.. I have 4 more.

Well I didn’t make my goal of no hospital stays this year… came into the hospital Wednesday afternoon with abdominal pain. They did blood work and imaging and could see that there was some irritation in my intestines & some free fluid. Today I had an upper scope and found active ulcers again. So I am on ulcer meds again and have one more night in the hospital to make sure food is going to agree with me and help with the pain management. Overall I’m glad that it’s not something that requires surgery and that I can heal these ulcers again with some small changes.
