President John Dramani Mahama has assented to ten Bills, giving them legal effect to strengthen governance, public administration, national security and economic management.

The enactments cover Customs, Community Service, Tribunals, Maritime Offences, National Defence University, Income Tax, Energy Sector Levies, Ghana Cocoa Board, VAT and Excise.

The legislation forms part of Government’s broader agenda to modernise key sectors, strengthen institutions and advance Ghana’s economic transformation.
