In January I got my hours cut at work and I’m only working weekends now. I’ve been stressed and worried and my husband said not to worry. Today he texted me and said he got a big raise and a bonus at work. I guess I don’t need a second job now. Celebrating with these beautiful steaks. $6 each.

ETA for more context: Yes, this all came from an ALDI dumpster. I went at night about 30 minutes before closing and this was my first time going. Im not a pro dumpster diver by any means but I might start making it a habit after today lol This ALDI had lost power from the residual hurricane weather on Friday. I went in today to see what was tossed out because of the outage. I was not expecting it to be so much produce. There were bags that had maybe one item in them that were bad but the rest were perfectly fine. Some did not have any bad parts at all. This store was also getting their delivery trucks and I can only assume they also had to remove old inventory to make room for new. I was laid off in April this year and trying to find a job in this economy has been rough so I’m very thankful I was able to find free produce when the cost of everything has been so high. Luckily potatoes and onions have a long shelf life if stored properly. Everything else will be frozen.

These are not very good!! 😆 Ate it all!!! By myself!! I’ve heard bad things about this. But I guess I got a good batch. Chicken was fresh, veges in it were nice and crunchy and seasoned pretty good. Best with crackers and no one talking to me!! 😂 Not AOS, but who cares!!! Find it in the fridge area!!

I don’t drink a lot of pop but every once in a while I’ll buy the mini bottles of Coke for a treat. Today my hubby tried the Summit Cola I bought. He declared it the best cola he’s ever had. So I tried it and absolutely agreed. There’s some unusual flavor that we can’t identify. It’s a bit like vanilla or caramel or clove or something- very subtle but absolutely delicious. We’ll never go back to Coke!

My boyfriend turned me on to buying these frozen sausage patties and I feel like I’m doing you all a disservice not sharing my new go-to breakfast.
Buns $1.45/8 = 18 cents each
Cheese $1.29/10 = 13 cents each
Sausage $9.69/18 = 54 cents each
All from Aldi and I add homemade mayo.
85 cents for a breakfast sandwich that fills me up! This would be $4+ easily if you went to a drive through!

Not AOS, but whatever you are doing, STOP now. Go get in your car, hop on your bike, or ride whatever livestock you currently own and go get these. If bananas and chocolate are your jam, you will want these. They also have them in a key lime flavor. I'm not even mad at them anymore for not having the Mediterranean chicken burgers. Well, kinda still a little mad, but not as mad as I was at first. Each little bite makes the mad go away 🤣
