A motor vehicle crash was reported in the area of Adams Court and Douglas Street.

A stealing was reported from a business in the 9400 block of Hwy 100. A suspect was identified. Suspect does not live in town, just has family in town. Suspect did not want to come in and talk about the incident due to having warrants already. Information was giving to the agency where he resides for them to help him make arrangements to get his warrants taken care of so then he can possibly speak about the incident. Investigation is ongoing.

Assisted EMS with a medical call in the 100 block of Ridgeway Drive.

Assisted New Haven Berger Fire with a fire call on Hwy 100 at East Industrial Drive.

A building alarm was sounding in the 100 block of Danny Scott Drive. The storm set it off.

An elderly male with possible dementia walked away from his home and was located on a front porch in the 700 block of Douglas Street. He was returned home to his family.

A follow-up investigation was completed in the 800 block of Haven Manor Drive.

Assisted EMS with a medical call in the 100 block of Circle Drive.

Assisted EMS with a medical call in the 1000 block of Washington Street.

Assisted EMS with a medical call in the 100 block of Haven Manor Drive.

A check the well-being was completed in the 1000 block of Maupin Avenue.

A bank es**rt was requested in the 100 block of Circle Drive.

A 911 hangup was reported in the 1000 block of Olive Street. A child was playing with the phone, everything was fine.

A 911 hangup was reported in the area of Douglas Street and Adams Court. It was determined to be an accidental pocket dial.

A dog was reported running loose in the 800 block of Maupin Avenue.

Another dog was reported running loose in the 9400 block of Hwy 100.

A 911 hangup was reported in the 1000 block of Olive Street. It was determined to be accidental and everything was fine.

Assisted EMS with a medical call in the 900 block of Haven Manor Drive.

An ordinance violation was reported in the 1000 block of Olive Street.

A lost wallet was reported.

A suspicious person was reported in the 800 block of Miller Street walking through their carport and on their front porch. Subject left prior to arrival. Video of the subject obtained.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the City Park. The vehicle left.

Overall this week, we had:

• 23 traffic stops (14 on city streets/ 9 on the Highway)

All events are free and held in New Haven City Park.

About the annual New Haven hot air balloon race hosted by Pepsi. Free and open to the public.

NHPD Officers Holmes and Keckler had a great time visiting with some young entrepreneurs in the 900 block of Maupin Avenue! They served up some delicious lemonade.
