Omegatelik is an eclectic dark dance, genre fluid, DJ based out of Hartford, CT with resident DJ positions at SanctuaryCT (New Haven, CT) and RESIST The Club (Albany, NY). They have been involved in the overarching goth industrial scene since 2006 and are known for crushing dance floors across North America (and abroad). Traveling and experiencing new club nights, collaborating with other DJs, sup
porting live music and spending time with fellow artists and friends is a passion of theirs. They hold it to be the life blood of making a scene into a community. Omegatelik began DJing in 2016 and despite hesitancy to leave the dance floor, they fell in love with being on the other side of the decks. Sweaty and sultry; they bring an eclectic mix of dark dance music woven from modern goth, industrial, ebm, dark electro, tribal noise, and dark pop. Through a journey of genre exploration, they strive to weave a cathartic narrative eliciting lusty and powerful passion to keep you moving all night long. In addition to their residencies, Omegatelik has performed at numerous events across the north east such as: Xmortis (Boston, MA), Kontrol (Easthampton, MA), Resurrection (Manchester, NH), Darq (Salem, MA), KINK (Providence, RI), Club Nihil (NYC), Reign of Terror (Milton, PA), Coven (Easton, PA), QXTs (Newark, NJ), Asylum 13 (Wilmington, DE), Ignition (Ocean View, NJ), Crypt (Montpleir, VT), Blackbeard Endeavours, various kink events, has collaborated on numerous Twitch streams with DJs across the world, and more. Omegatelik believes in and encourages the paradigm shift in the dark music community towards embracing diversity and inclusion, protecting its marginalized members, and celebrating the latest music.
