Hey everyone, it would mean so much to me if you would share my brand new song “Pray and Listen”. Like many of us this crazy world sometimes gets me feeling down. I combat these feelings by getting quiet, spending time in nature, writing music, making art and taking comfort in my spiritual and family center. This is a song that I wrote and recorded in an hour or two a couple months ago. This song came to be in part because of a songwriter challenge. The challenge was given to me and 6 other songwriters including my new friend Charlie Widmer (CT state troubadour), for a good Friday concert at Spring Glen Church in my home town of Hamden Connecticut. I’ve had the opportunity to play this song several times at my live shows. The song has really resonated with a whole bunch of folks and I hope it resonates with you too. If you listen closely to the recording, you’ll hear the deeply expressive voice of my friend Bryan Titus who sang harmonies. Shout out to Bigger Beast Records and my friend and promotions manager Elizabeth Mary who have been helping push my music out there for the past year. I’m very thankful for all the new listeners and friends I’ve made on this new journey. This song also ended up on the new “Folk Now” compilation from Hudson Harding

I’m still riding high from what was a very magical night at Lyric Hall Theater ,thank you so much to everyone who came to the show!! It was a blessing to have you all there. Erik Balkey and Jessica Smucker sounded awesome. Thanks to Liz Reed and Jack Bienvenue and the rest of the team at Bigger Beast Records . Huge shout out to Elizabeth Mary (Liz) for helping me make this show an amazing success as well as hosting the night and SO utterly thankful that she’s been getting all my the behind scenes gears turning and organization ship shape!
