Round 3 chemo in the books! Side effects a lots of fatigue, mouth sores so bad you can barely eat. Soft foods for a week. I made it though! Now I have a week to gain strength and get ready for round 4. Here is a few things I have discovered going though chemo.
1. You don’t realize how important your health is until you feed your body poison to kill off disease.
2. Our bodies are designed to keep us healthy. Rest when you need rest. Don’t stress yourself out about things you have no control over. Feed your body foods that keep you healthy.
3. Exercise your body and your mind. Your brain is an amazing, powerful tool to help you recover from anything that ails you. If you focus your brain on healing it will do this for you. It will send in the soldiers to attack and flush out the bad stuff in your body.
Even on my worst days, I believe that my story is only the beginning of the bigger story. I have complete control of how this chapter plays out. And I won’t allow cancer to destroy my life. I have spend to much time building and creating this beautiful story to have it end tragically! If you are going though a tough spot in your life. Remember sometimes the storm rolls in to clear a path for you! So instead of being upset at the storm embrace it and let it clear the path for your next chapter.

Good afternoon,
I was diagnosed with four stage colon cancer January 2025. I’m going to use this page to document my journey through chemotherapy, surgery and the lifestyle changes that I have made due to this diagnosis. I’m hoping by doing this this will inspire someone else going through the same diagnosis or a friend or family member that you know that is been diagnosed with cancer Maybe this will inspire you to inspire them. I am on my third round of chemotherapy. During this next week, I will be posting a short video and a couple recipes. Please share this page.
