Samantha did accidentally turn the family cat into a dog at one point—though it was never just to mess with Darren’s sanity. In her early days of magic, Samantha occasionally found herself in a bit of a bind, trying to juggle spells that didn’t always go as planned. One such mishap happened when she attempted to cast a simple spell to make the cat behave, but instead, she transformed the feline into a dog. As usual, the situation created a whirlwind of confusion, especially for Darren, who was already struggling to come to terms with Samantha's magical world. While the spell wasn’t intentionally meant to drive Darren mad, it definitely added to his bewilderment and sense of chaos in their already unpredictable life!

Samantha might have actually considered a career in magic-based stand-up comedy, at least for a moment, just to see how Darren would react to her jokes. Given her witty, playful nature and her knack for turning everyday situations into magical mishaps, she could easily see the humor in her magical blunders. Picture her on stage saying something like, "So, I turned a squirrel into a rabbit yesterday... oops!" with a perfectly innocent shrug, while Darren, ever the skeptic, would probably be sitting in the audience, mortified but secretly amused.

It’s easy to imagine Samantha having fun with the idea—lightheartedly using her magic to play with words, twist reality, and share her most ridiculous spell mishaps for laughs. After all, if anyone could pull off a magic-based comedy career, it would be Samantha, effortlessly blending her powers with her sense of humor. However, knowing her, she’d likely decide to keep it as a fun hobby to tease Darren every once in a while rather than pursue it full-time. After all, she already had a lot on her plate with keeping the family—and the magical world—running smoothly!
