Yo Dj Entertainment and Sonic Boom DJ Service have chosen to merge together under one common name “Yo Dj Entertainment” to create a stronger brand awareness.
James Kelley, owner of Sonic Boom DJ Service, one of Fox Valley’s best DJ services, and Corey Young, owner of Yo Dj Entertainment have been best friends for 10+ years. They have worked closely together on countless events and each carry very high standards when it comes to the events they cater.
Although James Kelley will officially carry the Yo Dj Entertainment name, previous/current/future clients of James’ can rest assured that his outstanding DJ methodology has not changed.
Yo Dj Entertainment will be known for their experienced, passion-driven DJs, who constantly go above and beyond of what is expected to make sure your event is stress-free, perfect and ultimately a good time. (aka “better than your friends’ events who didn’t book Yo Dj)
James has been a professional DJ since 2004, catered hundreds of events, and has a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service while bringing the “go big, or go home” mentality to his events. His ability to read and interact with the crowd while playing the perfect song for the moment is envied by those who are just entering the DJ business.
Corey started Yo Dj Entertainment in 2002, he is the “face” of Yo Dj, literally (the face logo). Everyone who talks to him about his business can tell how passionate he is about it. His witty, improvisation humor and out-going personality is a trait that can not be taught. Most guests at events think he is the event coordinator due to the amount of effort he puts into making the event as stress-free as possible for the clients. From black tie corporate events to high energy weddings, Corey has the innate ability to adjust his entertainment style to perfectly match that of the crowds.
