Risco seventh grader Kylie Patterson earned a spot on the 12U USA Softball All-American team, playing at Oklahoma City’s Devon Park and gaining confidence and skills among the nation’s top young athletes.

“If you have a passion, this is a place to get it done,”District Governor Ralph Zookey said. The club’s framework allows members to propose and lead initiatives, whether local or international, as long as they align with Rotary’s mission.”

The New Madrid County Rotary Club has received its official charter, joining Rotary District 6060 and district officials encouraged members to engage in service projects and district events focused on global impact.

New Madrid County R-1 School District is launching a Hall of Fame to honor exceptional students, coaches, and supporters, with the first nominees expected by August 2026, among other district updates.
