Bonnie Joy Dewkett, CPO® is an organizing expert, author, coach, and motivational speaker. She began organizing as a child when she would organize her toys, and she has been organizing ever since. One of her favorite childhood memories is receiving a closet system for her eleventh birthday. After helping friends and family to organize their homes, she decided to make it a full time career. Her diverse background gives her the ability to assist her clients with everything from the unique needs of organizing children’s rooms; to the organizational challenges of moving an entire family across the country. Her first book, The Joyful Organizer’s Guide to a Joyful Move is available on our website and Amazon.com. Her second book, a collaboration with organizer Paris Love, is available on our website, digitally at Scribd.com, and in print and Kindle versions on Amazon.com. Bonnie has achieved the prestigious designation of Certified Professional Organizer, CPO®, from The Board of Certification for Professional Organizers. She is proud to be a member of The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). Bonnie has been a guest speaker at many groups throughout the New York Metro area—from local mother’s clubs to the Pepsi Bottling Group’s corporate headquarters. She has been featured locally in The Ridgefield Press, The Brookfield Journal, The Danbury Newstimes, and The Journal News. Her advice has been featured nationally in Better Homes and Gardens—The Secrets of Getting Organized annual issue. Bonnie holds a B.S. in Resource and Agribusiness Management from the University of Maine. She expects to complete work for her M.B.A. from Nichols College in the Spring of 2011. Bonnie lives our company philosophy that an organized home is a joyful home! Matthew R. Dewkett Matthew R. Dewkett started his journey to organization in 1998, when he and Bonnie met at The University of Maine. After Bonnie helped him declutter his dorm room on move out day, he knew organizing would be a part of his life for a long time. He understands our client’s organizing challenges as he has overcome them himself. He is living proof that anyone can get organized! Prior to joining the company in late 2007, Matt held corporate positions in banking and relocation. At credit card giant MBNA, Matt was responsible for managing the relationships between MBNA and its Customers. His position also gave him vast experience marketing products and services to cardholders, which directly correlates to the marketing efforts of The Joyful Organizer®. At Cartus, a leader in corporate relocation, Matt managed the real estate portion of the relocation process for transferring employees of clients: Parker Hannifin, Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Gannett Newspapers, Sony, and MBNA. His experience creating home marketing strategies for relocating employees makes him a valuable resource to our relocating organizing customers. Matt is also an avid photographer, and professional voice talent. He has studied voice at the Creative Voice Development Group, and improvisation and writing at Chicago’s famed Second City. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Management and Finance from The University of Maine.
