I have been invited to The White House on a few occasions over the course of my career. One time I will never forget is when I was invited to be a part of the launch of My Brothers Keeper.

The My Brother’s Keeper Alliance leads a cross-sector national call to action focused on building safe and supportive communities for boys and young men of color.

It’s amazing to see how the initial cohort has grown and given back to their communities over the years.

It’s amazing to see the NFLs global growth strategy play out in real time. Buoyed by the success of NBA Africa, this year we have seen numerous bridges built between The NFL and Africa culminating in their Super Bowl Ad campaign.

With over 100 current players with direct connections to the continent, as a first generation Ghanaian American,it’s been great to see Ghana being showcased as one of the first areas in Africa the NFL is focused on.

I am excited to see how this strategy will play out overtime.

The subject of the NFL Africa Super Bowl campaign was named “Kwesi”, apparently I was the target market for the campaign and they are great at targeting !

When I met BLITZ the AMBASSADOR almost twenty years ago at this point, he literally sold me his self produced cd on the street in New York City. This was his main way of connecting to new fans at that time. It was quite unusual for me to buy a cd from a random artist on the street, but something was different about this young man.

Little did I know that that $10 purchase would lead to a partnership and the spark of one of this generations most talented young artists.

I was lucky enough to help contribute to BLITZ the AMBASSADOR's early career which quickly included setting him up to perform in front of tens of thousands of fans while opening for NAS Public Enemy The Roots AKON Fabolous and a number of Hip Hop and R+B Heavyweights as well releasing his first studio albums , music videos, etc

This Christmas BLITZ the AMBASSADOR will bless the world with his maybe his greatest creative project to date The Color Purple produced by Hollywood's elite Oprah Winfrey Quincy Jones Stephen Spielberg and I know this is just the beginning of his journey.

So on this day I say "Salute" to my friend BLITZ the AMBASSADOR have an amazing opening week!
