Could gambling become the new crack epidemic for the Black community? There's cause for concern as data suggests black Americans are becoming huge consumers for sportsbooks. From podcasts such as Club Shay Shay and The Joe Budden Podcast who are sponsored by Draft Kings and Prize Picks respectively, many believe this is the start of something that could be detrimental for a population that financially can't take on such risks.

What happens when the person that earned the pension passes away? The wealth in the black community is tied into assets that aren't transferrable. Why aren't media outlets discussion this? At least black media.

In the middle of an election season, why aren't mainstream outlets talking about this? This doesn't happen in one administration, but multiple administrations.

Again, this was a part of a class project and again concerning finds. Once a female reaches the 60 mark regardless of race, more than likely won't receive much media coverage nationally if they go missing. Why is this? What does it say about our society when media won't make the same effort to report on missing women in their 60's or older as they would with women between 18-24?

It's interesting what a simple class project can uncover. The gaps between local and national coverage of missing women by race is alarming. Are media executives having honest conversations behind the scenes? Are intentional efforts being made to address this?
