Just sitting here watching New Orleans show up for Eric Paulson and it’s heart warming to know that his work was not in vain , He touched so many lives over these many years including mine , I must say brother you will truly be missed and we love you and are constantly praying for your family, so on that note get your rest you have ran your race and finished your course enter the gates and say hi to frank and all of the New Orleans soldiers that’s awaiting you! A DJ IS CALLED TO PLAY IN A BAR AND THE OWNER TELLS HIM:
"I KNOW YOU CHARGE $1,000.00 PER PARTY, BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S WORTH THAT MONEY. WHAT I CAN PAY IS $500.00 IF IT'S GOOD FOR YOU."
THE DJ RESPONDS: "OK, IT'S FINE."
"BY THE WAY, HOW MUCH DOES A BOTTLE OF WINE COST" AND THE BAR OWNER SAYS: "$300."
AND THE DJ SAYS:
"WELL, BRING ME A BOTTLE, BUT I'LL ONLY PAY $100, WHICH IS WHAT IT REALLY COSTS."
"WHAT...?" SAYS THE BAR OWNER. "GOOD FRIEND. I HAVE TO PAY EMPLOYEES, WAITER, SECURITY AND BASIC SERVICES... NO MY FRIEND, YOU WON'T PUT A PRICE ON MY DRINK!"
THEN THE DJ SAYS:
"THEN. IF I CAN'T PUT A PRICE ON YOUR DRINK, WHY DO YOU PUT A PRICE ON MY WORK?
DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS FOR ME TO SEARCH FOR, BROWSE OR BUY MUSIC? HOW MANY YEARS HAVE I SPECIALIZED TO BE ABLE TO WORK WITH MIXING AND KEYS OF CERTAIN SONGS.
HOW MUCH IT COST TO NOT SPEND TIME WITH MY FAMILY, EQUIPMENT, HEADPHONES, CONTROLLER, CDJ PLAYER, MIXER, CABLES, SPEAKERS, MARKETING, WEBSITES, FUEL, POSTAGE, MEALS AND MUCH MORE???"
