Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams suffered a right hamstring injury during Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings and will undergo an MRI to assess the damage. Bears coach Ben Johnson said he was "happy" the injury did not involve Williams' knee, but a hamstring injury "can be pretty damaging as well." Backup quarterback Tyler Bagent took over for Williams. Bagent will likely start for Chicago next week against the Philadelphia Eagles, with an update on Williams' prognosis expected later Monday.

LSU stayed in the top 10 of The Associated Press’ top 25, even after a 32-24 loss at Ole Miss in a highly anticipated showdown Saturday night. The 10th-ranked Tigers prepare to face another ranked opponent this week, with Texas A&M set to visit Tiger Stadium this week. The Tigers may be without tight end Trey'Dez Green, who left the game with a lower body injury. Green will “miss some games,” according to a social media post by his mother, but he is not expected to need surgery.

For the second straight week, the Saints erased a big second-half deficit—this time, it ended in a win. New Orleans went on the road and beat the Baltimore Ravens 24-17. Tyler Shough delivered the deciding play with a fourth-down sneak with 1:28 remaining. Earlier in the fourth quarter, his 21-yard touchdown pass to Chris Olave tied the game. The Saints also lost left tackle Kelvin Banks to an ankle injury, and he did not return. New Orleans opens its home schedule next Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Four years ago, Tulane visited eventual Big 12 champion Kansas State and left with a 17-10 win, a result that helped spark a 4-year run of success under Willie Fritz and Jon Sumrall. Now, the Green Wave is trying to repeat that kind of stunner Saturday in Manhattan. Will Hall’s first Tulane team is 1-1 after beating South Alabama last week. Kansas State is 2-0 and has outscored its first two opponents by 95 points. Tulane quarterback Kadin Semonza makes his second start, while Wildcats quarterback Avery Johnson has 492 yards and 7 touchdowns. Listen to the game broadcast on The Ticket beginning at 10 a.m.
