Why do Japanese people hate cats and dogs so much? πŸ€”

πŸ˜”πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Heartbreaking cases of animal cruelty – mutilated cats found in cities, poisoned food used to kill innocent pets, breeders arrested for abusing dogs... No animal deserves this kind of suffering! These horrific acts must stop. We need stronger laws everywhere to protect cats, dogs, and all animals from abuse. Report cruelty when you see it, support shelters, and demand justice for the voiceless. Share if you stand against animal abuse!

Toronto police seek public’s help locating missing 13-year-old girl

Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old girl last seen in Scarborough.

Bareerah was last seen on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., in the area of McCowan Road and Sheppard Avenue East.

She is described as five feet two inches tall with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes. Police say she was last seen wearing a black abaya and a niqab. She may also have been wearing a thin black spring jacket, black track pants and blue Under Armour shoes with white soles.

Police say they are concerned for her safety.

Anyone with information on Bareerah’s whereabouts is urged to contact Toronto police.

According to Reuters, new FEMA grant notices require U.S. states to certify they will not sever β€œπœπ¨π¦π¦πžπ«πœπ’πšπ₯ 𝐫𝐞π₯𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐒𝐟𝐒𝐜𝐚π₯π₯𝐲 𝐰𝐒𝐭𝐑 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞π₯𝐒 πœπ¨π¦π©πšπ§π’πžπ¬β€ in order to receive federal disaster preparedness funding.

The requirement applies to at least $1.9 billion that states rely on to cover search-and-rescue equipment, emergency manager salaries and backup power systems among other expenses, according to 11 agency grant notices reviewed by Reuters.

Phoenix: A father left his four kids in a hot car for nearly an hour while he visited an adult shop, according to police. They said the temperature in the car was around 125 degrees.

When officers got to the car, they found the children and were able to get them out of the vehicle and provide them with water. The temperature inside the car was around 125 degrees, police said. They said the internal temperature of all four children was around 100 degrees.

"There were elements of heat exposure, you know, pink, red skin, sweating, crying, that kind of thing that kind of showed officers the severity of where this could have gone," said Sgt. Rob Scherer with the Phoenix Police Department.

"It's unfathomable to be honest, to be honest with you."

All four children were taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary reasons. They are all expected to be okay.

The father of the children, 38-year-old Ascencio Largo, was arrested after being found inside the adult store, police said. Police learned the father had been in the business just shy of an hour before the police's arrival.
