Corner Oyster House is not critically acclaimed….though I believe their charbroiled oysters to be better than Drago’s. Most of the rest of their menu is nothing to write home about. The big draw for me is that they are ideally located when you need to catch a carriage tour.

However, they do cut their beignet dough into French fries and smother them with bananas Foster sauce. And that confection lives rent-free in my mind.
