💭I was deeply honored to be invited as a speaker for the inaugural Dyan “Mama D” French Cole Fatherhood Acknowledgment Initiative. Mama D was a well-known and respected fierce community activist who tirelessly fought for equality and justice, always believing in the power of grassroots advocacy from the bottom up. This initiative, named in her honor, highlights and acknowledges the crucial role that Black fathers play in strengthening our communities, challenging the often negative stereotypes and portrayals in media and press.

Congratulations to the six honorees who exemplify the impact of dedicated fatherhood. A special shout out to Bryon and Rhadell Cole () for organizing such a powerful and impactful event. My fellow guest speakers: Pastor R. C. Blakes, Jr. () and Tanya Ralph (). Your work continues Mama D’s legacy in a truly meaningful way.
