Jon Vogl (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0901032/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1) is a film industry veteran with credits as a sound supervisor, re-recording mixer and sound editor on major studio and independent feature films. Prior to opening Apex Post Production in Louisiana, Jon was a staff sound mixer at 20th Century Fox Studios in Los Angeles. While there, he recorded and mixed sound for such notable feature films as Master and Commander, Ice Age, X-Men, Shrek 2, Walk the Line, Erin Brokovich, and others. Jon also holds a PhD in Music Composition from UCLA and has experience with picture editorial, graphics, color grading, DVD mastering and foreign language versions. With an emphasis on quality and consistency, Vogl’s Apex Post Production has become one of the few Louisiana based film companies with experience working on large scale Hollywood productions. The opening of his new ADR recording and sound mixing facility, which also includes on-site graphics, visual effects, editorial, digital cinema packages and data management, enables Jon Vogl and Apex Post Production to provide the local Louisiana film and television community with true professional quality post production services.
