NOCHI's annual fundraiser, Cooking With A Cause, was a remarkable success. The evening showcased an array of exquisite dishes, predominantly crafted by NOCHI's talented graduates, creating a delightful culinary experience. Attendees were welcomed by the Merry Antoinettes, who offered champagne as they arrived, setting a festive tone for the event. There was crafted cocktails and live entertainment. Additionally, an online auction featuring exclusive curated experiences added an engaging element to the evening. The proceeds from this event will support NOCHI's mission to empower individuals with the essential skills, confidence, and entrepreneurial mindset necessary for thriving in culinary and hospitality careers. Festively Gay Daily Spotlight: “I Wrote a Song” returns to the stage this Fall! With music, lyrics and book by Trey Bien, this outrageous original musical tells the story of a closeted Baptist minister and his journey outward. This amazing play premiers on Friday, Sept. 25, 7:00pm at The AllWays Lounge Twilight Room. I had the pleasure of attending the opening night at The Saenger Theatre, where the atmosphere was electric with music, dance, and outstanding theatrical performances. The show's repertoire, filled with beloved songs, thrilled the audience, making it a must-see experience. Festively Gay Daily Spotlight: On Friday, September 25, 2026, the Krewe of Dolly invites our community to honor and celebrate the extraordinary life and lasting legacy of our namesake, Dolly Parton, with a Celebration of Life and Memorial Parade through the French Quarter and an After Party following at Blue Nile. This event is open to the public and starts at 5 pm. Come in costume or as you are! The Memorial Parade is for all ages, and the After Party is for ages 21 and up. They will have special announcements at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at 6 PM Ambush Magazine

The Krewe of Petronius hosted their Decadent Dinner at Tableau Restaurant, featuring an exquisite three-course meal accompanied by appetizers and complimentary wine and champagne service. These refined dining occasions provide valuable opportunities to engage with Krewe members and their supporters. The experience of dining with views overlooking Jackson Square further enhanced the evening's distinction.
