trying to break free from a vice of your own?

Consider this your invitation to follow along for the next 137 days. Pick your own vice, pick your own goal and let’s retrain our brains together.

This is how I broke my broken relationship with alcohol.

Not by sitting on the couch every night thinking about what I’m missing out on. By making new goals and finding new things to keep my low dopamine chasing brain intrigued and happy.

sources have confirmed their plan: play kumbaya through election season and then drop the beverage only carve out, aka step 4 of the plan.

Crushing farmers, small businesses and limiting consumer access all at the same time to only those big beverage distributors want to play at Target with.

Why? So a select few propped up with investment money h**p beverage bros can get buy outs and the alcohol industry can keep their power.

The Epstein protecting class doesn’t stay in power on accident folks. This is how they use regulatory capture to crush small businesses, control emerging industries and keep the politicians they want in place.

And your favorite h**p beverage company is probably working behind closed doors to help them do it.

breaking up with my nightly Blue Bell dopamine chasing obsession the only way I know how.

spoiler alert - by doing the hard things.

By retraining my brain. Setting new habits to reconfigure how those brain neurons associate winding down every night.

So for me, that’s getting away from the crime scene. No more relaxing on couch, eating ice cream and watching a show the second the kids go down.

I’m throwing in exercise to associate positive endorphins and activity instead.

Just like I used to go for a walk or workout when I was giving up alcohol and my low dopamine brain was screaming at me for the easy routine.

And to stay with it? Chase a dopamine high? Setting the goal of completing (I hate running) the Louisiana Marathon 1/2 in January - 138 days from now.

So here’s to day 1 of my public sharing. Follow along and set your own vice change and goal ✌️
