This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to support the CFO and senior leadership in driving strategic, financial, and operational initiatives for a fast-growing organization in the maritime industry. What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to inform strategic decisions
- Prepare dashboards and reports to track performance metrics and industry benchmarks
- Support internal budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting cycles
- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, labor agreements, and contract negotiations
- Evaluate and improve financial workflows, reporting mechanisms, and internal controls
- Partner with leadership to support operational excellence and future growth

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of financial or operational analysis experience (logistics, maritime, or industrial sectors a plus)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with financial systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Strategic mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred
- MBA and/or experience in unionized or maritime/port operations
- Exposure to organizational planning and leadership development
