Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Oklahoma is closing its gates.

The leaser said:
“We know you like 1980s entry fees and 2034 payouts, but that doesn’t keep the lights on.”

Everything costs more—glue, labor, equipment. But racers still complain when entry fees go up.
