Advice I’d give to beginners, from someone who’s still learning too. 📸
You’re going to have days when you question your work. You’ll compare yourself to people who are years ahead of you. You’ll make mistakes, take on projects that challenge you, and sometimes wonder if you’re even good enough.
Keep going anyway.
Your first work isn’t supposed to look like your best work. Every shoot teaches you something—how to communicate better, how to handle pressure, how to understand light, how to work with different people, and most importantly, how to trust your own creative eye.
Invest in your skills before obsessing over your gear. Build relationships, not just a portfolio. Be professional even when nobody is watching. Take feedback without losing your own vision.
And don’t wait until you feel “ready.”
Most of the growth happens because you started before you were ready.
Keep shooting. Keep creating. Keep learning.
One day, you’ll look back at the beginner you were and realize that every imperfect step was building the creative you were meant to become.
