Our Story
Michael King, known as “the Cajun Contractor,” has been in the home improvement and home construction industry for nearly three decades, first by working for a home improvement company and then becoming a fully licensed general contractor owning and managing his own company. For more than a decade, however, his knowledge and expertise as a general contractor have been put to use by hosting the nationally syndicated television and radio program HomeTalk with Michael King.
HomeTalk with Michael King’s mission is to create a community of home improvement and home construction information and resources. To that end, HomeTalk with Michael King hopes to provide information and resources on many topics and issues concerning home improvements and home construction, introduce the consumer to new and innovative home improvement and home construction products, provide access to industry experts, hold the home improvement and home construction industries accountable for its business practices, protect homeowners from consumer fraud, and advocate for a fair relationship between contractors and consumers.
