Leah Chase made her fight for civil rights about feeding the leaders of the movement, and has been feeding the city of New Orleans ever since. A few years ago we were lucky enough to sit down and talk with her in her restaurant and she was the sweetest woman with the sharpest memory you'd ever meet. The light she brought to the city will continue to be seen for generations, and she will be missed.
