The Queer Cajun

The Queer Cajun Storyteller exploring identity, heritage, food, and community—sharing vegan-Cajun recipes and uplifting q***r voices.

I'm a storyteller, creator, and passionate advocate for community, culture, and connection. Through my blog, I explore identity, heritage, and the art of reimagining Cajun cuisine by making it vegan—honoring its roots while embracing sustainability. Beyond food, I'm dedicated to uplifting q***r voices, uncovering hidden histories, and fostering meaningful conversations. Feeding others is one of my

love languages, and I believe in the power of sharing stories, meals, and experiences that bring people together. Stick around for recipes, reflections, and deep dives into the intersections of identity, culture, and resilience.

Visibility isn’t just about being seen—it’s about being recognized, supported, and protected. Today, we celebrate trans lives, resilience, and the right to exist openly and safely. Visibility is powerful, but it must be met with action. Support trans-led initiatives, like Louisiana Trans Advocates, that uplift trans voices and fight for a world where visibility doesn’t come with risk.

We're advocate for trans rights, host monthly social support groups in several cities, and offer trainings across the state. We're an organization for trans people, by trans people, and we believe that every single trans person in our state can contribute to the movement for trans liberation.
