Last night the New Orleans ancestors touched Soulful House Music.
Big ups to my man Ngoma Numu for rocking this party.
Man that was everything!!!
That was the energy that I dreamed of and moved back here for.
The infusion of the fully decked out dressed/masked Indians on percussion and vocals. The grooves u were playing on the decks while going back and forth on the percussion. S**t was pure Dopeness. Best feeling I have had about the future of New Orleans House music and the sound that we will produce. I was blown away.
There’s going to be a sub genre of house music that is born here. It’s a forgone reality. S**t is gonna be the most soulful s**t u have ever seen in your life!!!

As a DJ I’m internally arrogant AF. If I shared what I think of myself it would be too much for some.
HOWEVA!!!!
DJing outside of House Music is such a serious job that I have to respect, that I must calm down about how dope I think I am.
Playing House Music u can feel and do.
Playing modern music takes a lot more work and feeling of the culture and the vibe. I’ll always think I’m the best. But I’ll always be humbled. I don’t ever wanna have to do what they do.
I did that in the 80s and 90s.
I honestly don’t think I could do it now.
Respect to the DJs!!!!!

Soon I will, along with my partner on this endeavor take on the mission of creating one of the best Monthly House Music that the planet has ever seen.
I have been blessed to play at some great monthly parties in the world.
From Day Parties to late night afters.
And all I could think of during those gigs was a chance to create our own version of it in New Orleans.
Over the next two weeks I will be pressing many of my New Orleans friends family and associates to come thru and support this mission.
I’ve been screaming House Music to y’all for a few years now but this is the first time I have had a chance to really do what I’ve envisioned for many years in our own unique way.
The brother DJ Chris Stylez has been right there with me trying to figure a way to put this together.
He found the perfect venue.
A beautiful House in Sexy Uptown New Orleans. It’s very similar to the spot that I played my favorite party
About The Music - Oakland/Bay Area
My adult home town.
But the food game will be insane and it’s New Orleans… duh!!
I’ve been mad envious in a good way of how my friends around the world have put these amazing parties together.
Beginning 9 November
Me and the Brother Chris begin our journey to create a party that not only rivals these other parties but surpasses anything we have seen.
Ambitious? Yes.
But New Orleans is unlike any other city in the world so nothing less is expected.
6 pm November 9th it begins…

Let it be known.
I am going for it all.
30 August I begin my world tour that will never end.
I am going back out there. F**K IT!
I will spend every weekend playing somewhere in the world.
We getting this New Orleans thing popping but I gottta get back on that road. It's just who I am. I can't avoid it anymore,
I came back to the states to get at my children.
It didnt work out like I wanted.
F*K IT.....
I'M OUT....
I believe in myself.
I would rather die than just wait for the right time....
The time IS NOW.....
The perpetual tour gets going again
30 August. I won't have a home anymore.
I'll just be out there.....
